The God Chair

Within the framework of a public market launched by the joint syndicate of the Chair-God project, the Atelier des Facsimilés du Périgord has produced a facsimile of the Danse Macabre. The challenge was to create a high quality reproduction of an unfinished 15th century fresco located at the Abbey of La Chaise-Dieu in Haute Loire, which consists of three panels of 5 meters x 1.20 meters. This facsimile is set up in an immersive scenography, Gaussin room, a room that is part of the buildings of the abbey, to make available to the public several readings of this work (painted reproduction, photos and videos) in an immersive scenography.
